Angus Mackay, Creative Director
SMG experience
Angus worked for the Scottish Media Group from 1992 until 1999. Starting as an assistant editor, he went on to become first a picture editor and then a VT editor. During his time at SMG he worked on all production genres; cutting everything from documentary and drama, to commercials and title sequences.
Freelance experience
Leaving SMG in 1999, Angus began working as a freelance editor and designer, and spent the next ten years working on that basis. During that time he did much of his work for the Studio Alba facility; providing both edit and design services and also strategic consultancy.
These years again saw him working on a wide variety of projects; from cutting the feature film Seachd, through numerous dramas, documentaries and music series, and also a ton of promotions and design work.In 1996 Studio Alba bought the first Smoke HD suite in Scotland a move that allowed both the facility and Angus to expand their creative repertoire.
Latterly, he also produced the award nominated music series A Ghariads (The Garage) for Studio Alba. In early 2009 Angus formed Corran Media Ltd.
Paul Duke, On-line Editor

Education
Paul is a native of Newtonmore in the scottish highlands, where he attended Kingussie high school. He went on from there to study television at the Skye based Gaelic college, Sabhal Mor Ostaig, attaining his BA in 2005.
Professional Experience
Upon graduating from Sabhal Mor, Paul was immediately given his break in the industry by Stornoway based facilities company Studio Alba, where he became an operations assistant and assistant editor.
In 2009 Paul graduated to the position of editor with Studio Alba and immediately began building up a strong track record as a gifted on-line Editor.
in 2010 he joined the fledgling Corran Media and quick established himself as a highly valuable part of the team. He continues to grow and develop his on-line editing skill set. In his free time he has the impossible - establishing shinty as a fixture of Lewis culture.
